The issue brings a typescript of a lecture by Robert Wilson in Cankarjev dom on January the 16th 1999, and a letter by Christopher Knowles, explaining how he met Robert Wilson. George Banu writes about Grotowski – the article is published in Maska at the death of the great Polish theatre innovator. An interview with Mirjana Miočinović is done by Blaž Lukan, and an interview with Bojan Jablanovec by Emil Hrvatin.

The central topic of the issue is the notion of gestus in Brecht’s work. The editor Aldo Milohnić included fundamental texts with this topic in the theme section (Benjamin, Pavis, Barthes, Scarpetta, Eagleton, Bishop, Diamond,Wright, Strehler, Berger, Milohnić), along with selected texts by Brecht. Mojca Kranjc adds a review of performances of Brecht in Slovenian theatres.
