CALL FOR ARTISTS IN THE FIELD OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE – CONTINUAL DRAMATURGY

The DANCE DRAMATURGY call is intended for artists who are planning to realize their authorial projects/productions in 2010.

The Dance Dramaturgy Programme was created on the basis of an analysis of the needs in the contemporary dance community, which showed that performing arts creators as well as producers wish to expand their knowledge in the field of dance dramaturgy and continually work with trained experts in this field more often.  
We thus invite all artists who would like to cooperate with a dramaturgical advisor on their project to apply to the CONTINUAL DANCE DRAMATURGY call. The dramaturgical advisor will follow the creative process and also actively cooperate in it.

The dramaturge’s work is free of charge. It is considered a co-production investment of Maska Institute, Ljubljana.

The application should include:
- basic information about the author,
- motivational letter about the reasons for application,
- the author’s and performers’ CVs,
- a short description of the concept of the performance,
- project schedule,
- name of producer/co-producers,
- the profile of the dramaturgical advisor you would like to work with and reasons for this (artist, dramaturge, someone working in the artist’s filed, expert from abroad, etc.)

The authors will be notified of the committee’s decision via e-mail by 30 April, at the latest.
