The Work Methodology in Creating AD HOC Projects
Sunday, 13 March 2011 at 16.00
at JSKD, Cankarjeva 5 (fifth floor)
The invited speakers will elaborate on the theoretical review of the presence and the specifics of ad hoc theatre by describing their own experiences related to its specific methodology, conception and production conditions. The purpose of the discussion is to detect the work procedures in artistic creation and consider the questions of dramaturgy, the introduction of different forms of performance and their potential. The discussion will be moderated by Saška Rakef.
You will be able to hear various artists from the field of contemporary artistic practices who work in various fields and, in their work, experiment with different formats, explore genre diversity and test the limits of the art field. Their presence will enrich the analysis of procedures used in creating ad hoc projects performed at the PreGlej na glas! Playwriting Festival.
Among them are: the mentors of workshops resulting in ad hoc events – Rona Žulj, Nina Matthis, Bogdan Georgescu, Bojan Djordjev, Martina Rusham – and numerous Slovenian theoreticians, dramaturges and artists – Simona Semenič, Simona Hamer, Rok Vevar, Sinja Ožbol, Andreja Kopač, Miha Marek, Vlado Repnik, Igor Štromajer, Irena Pivka, Zala Dobovšek, Janez Janša, Kud Ljud artistic collective, Simon Macuh, Zoran Srdić, etc.
The project will be carried out in the framework of the PreGlej na glas! Playwriting Festival, which will take place between 8 and 18 March 2011 at Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana Dance Theatre and other venues in Ljubljana.
