In the framework of the Reflection on Contemporary Art: Seminar of Contemporary Performing Arts, MASKA and Cankarjev dom invite you to apply to a two-day workshop:

JANEZ JANŠA: DISPOSITIFS OF IMAGINING AND REPRESENTATION

The workshop will take place
from Friday, 28 January to Sunday, 30 January 2011
every day between 15.30 and 20.00
at Cankarjev dom, M3/4 hall

The workshop entitled Dispositifs of Imagining and Representation is of a practical nature, namely, the participants will work on text as performance art. The work will proceed from the question of how a text can be performed without the actors speaking it. The participants will write texts and present them in various creative ways. Text as a written text offers a broad range of possible entries and approaches as well as its further uses and transformations into performative or other acts.

The workshop is intended for young theatre and dance artists and dramaturges. The price for outside participants is € 40.

Due to the limited number of places, we invite you to apply as soon as possible by sending an e-mail to: jasmina.zaloznik@maska.si.
