Through the weaving of these two words, Société Réaliste will present its recent work in a derive format, linking objects or situations encountered to techniques and aspects of its artistic practice. It mainly deals with textuality and typographic construction, non-linear/recursive narratives and figures, analogies, layers in cartographies, histories, litteratures, etc. These two axis of work are also a motor for an ongoing publication project, entitled "Almanach of Thélème".
Société Réaliste is a Parisian cooperative created in 2004. It works with political design, experimental economy, territorial ergonomy and social engineering consulting. Polytechnic, it develops its production schemes through exhibitions, publications and conferences. www.societerealiste.net.
